Our Wider Community in Ophthalmology

From around the Midlands, our Ophthalmologists are making a global impact on the burden of sight loss. One country’s needs will be different to another; how do we address this on a global platform?

This symposium aims to highlight the region’s strengths abroad. Sharing these experiences and the skills we bring back to our NHS practice will propagate further collaboration and enhance approaches to eye care within the region.

Also includes:

  • MOS Junior Awards 2018 – presentations for academic and clinical awards; poster exhibition
  • Middlemore Lecture 2018 to be delivered by Mrs Rosemary Robinson
  • The Midland Ophthalmological Society AGM
